I got the paperwork from them so I could marry others. In reading their paperwork they seem like a very open minded organization. Does anyone know anything about them? any bad experiences? good ones?

for those unfamiliar here is a link Universal Life Church ( or ULC )

I'm not really one for religion, but I think I can accept what they stand for...

It's just another false religion. The opening statement say's we are all children of the Universe. No... we are all children of God.

Any organizational text that within 5 lines talks about ordination... the red light should go off!

Default False religion? Nah.

Dave,

you don't have a clue about the Universal Life Church. I'm an ordained minister both in ULC and ULC Monastery, and there is only one creed: Do that which is right.

To me, being a Huna practitioner, God (or whatever name he/she/it has) is the Universe. So, the sentence " We are all children of the same universe" makes perfect sense to me.

Aloha
Norbert

Totally agree, all religions are false and they are just another one.

Oh and by the way, ordination is not even biblical, it is actually against the teachings of jesus.

Is that an absolute truth, or is it just your opinion.

To me they are one and the same. I use the phrases "I am a child of God" and "I am a child of the Universe" interchangably, to me they are one and the same. To me, they are both holy. We are all children of God. We are all children of the Universe. We are all indigenous to planet earth. We are all beloved children of the Creator.
