Thank you, Ptsum, I will do just that. Then I will also have the sound of a beautiful voice to listen to and pass down also.
Hi, June, It is always good to see you in the circle.

We were in the mid-70's on Monday and yesterday in the mid-30's with snow/ice/sleet in the forecast for tomorrow and Friday... in Houston no less! Goodpasture, we had up to 50 mph winds yesterday so I feel for you! I think it got into the teens last night with single-digit windchills. We're having rolling blackouts and today is not the day for that - it's COLD outside. Crazy weather. Makes me glad I work from home! I feel for my husband though - he'll have to go to work no matter what the road conditions are. Stay safe and warm everyone! Good day to curl up with your cat or dog, book or movie, and favorite hot beverage. For those of you who are having it worse than we are, I hope you can stay safe, warm, and you can keep your power on or at least have an alternate way of heating your home.

My son told me he headed out to work yesterday morning, and after two hours realized he had gone less than 100 yards, spent another hour and a half getting back into his driveway..........he tends to exaggerate on occasion.......

We're having some serious Santa Ana winds ourselves. They come straight off the desert, and this time of year they're fairly cool. Last night we had wind gusts up to 60 mph, and the forecast says they'll continue through today. Right now the relative humidity is 12 per cent, which places the dewpoint at 18 below zero.

Believe it or not, we're in actual danger of drying up and blowing away!

Y'all stay safe out there. And me? No worries, 'cause I'm putting rocks in my pockets...
