Arach has it right. I call it nature and you call it 'God'.
Which is absolutely fine, so long as you don't make it the basis for debunking atheism or saying our view is wrong. All the time you don't claim it is intelligent and somehow dabbles in human affairs with a forward - planning intent, we are apparently saying the same thing but in a different dialect.

God is a loaded word and it is understood only in one way - a creator being that will reward you and punish you with a heaven and hell. It is difficult to get past that in any discussion pertaining to spirituality or religion if we use that term to denote "something else."
Do atheists believe in "something else"? How would you define it?
cb2008 sees the issue here.
It has always been evident that you have never been much able to view "God" much beyond the Abrahamic Deity iterations TRANS...and you, like many others, are unable to get outside or beyond that.
So...the Pantheist concepts that evolved my Spirituality, that I found out about as a result of coming onto this forum...are unable to get around the "GOD = The Abrahamic Deity YHWH/Jehovah/Allah" blinkers you always have on.
Happy Thanksgiving Cru...Peace & Love to you and yours!
I don't believe in "Hell"...and have never believed in Hell. I was just jesting.
Check out this archive...it will explain. The last two are our exchange:
Whether or not God is the source of everything we discover and explain is the actual question, NOT what best explains how nature functions. Science has no answer and is impotent as regards finding an answer to that question. That is why theism and atheism are equal as answers based entirely on our preference. Religions are not probative.
Whether or not the concept of God is actually valid should necessarily come before whether or not God represents the source of everything we discover. Quantum mechanics neatly answers the basis of how everything works. And the question of whether or not quantum mechanics is a valid concept is answered each time you successfully use your cell phone.
That's fine, and we have no quarrel, so long as you don't have a quarrel with anyone who uses the term 'nature' - pending the demonstration of anything beyond 'natural forces' Or unknowns (which prove nothing) for the way everything works and is.
When they call it all a natural god you can modify your quarrel also.
Environmentalist worry about the human foot print? we should also be leery of over organized religion skid marks in human laundry.

HOW something works answers NOTHING about what it IS, ontologically. Study some philosophy and return to the discussion with more understanding of the distinction.

What IS God, anyway? Exactly what is God composed of?
It has made me read Bible and other religious materials not just my own I need to know where people are coming from it does not mean they are right - it just explains why they are so angry
