I talk it enough. I get "I never heard it put like that before." a ton. Its because I have far less of an agenda for promoting my belief than most. I am will to put all data )including holy books) and all beliefs and all life life experiences in the pile so we can see what is what.
Its a red flag when people won't do that.
Most people just dont care about religion or non religion. That would be weird for me, I am obsessed with it.

So in my example, is the decision 'unfair' because the outcomes were different, or is it 'fair' because the same thought process and heart to bless my children was the same for all three, even though they didn't receive the same amount?

The monetary value is not always the proper measure of value to the recipient. The satisfaction value to each recipient of whatever was purchased is the basis for determining equitable distribution.
