oh my goodness. i just saw a news story about a grandma in the middle of getting robbed in her car and she said to the guy "jesus is in this car and if you shoot me i will go to heaven and you will go to hell" etc. etc. and she ended up fine. wow. good story.

I have heard similar stories, that when people were getting robbed or mugged or attacked, they started praying out loud...and abruptly the person seemed to change their mind and run off. I've also heard people that can control their chi can throw all their chi out from their belly toward the attacker and it has the same effect.

I remember one time when I worked with a troubled young person who was very angry with me because I had to set limits. I had to stay with her at night. She had threatened to harm me but I didn't know if she was just talking or what. She did throw a phone at me once when I was trying to prevent her from hurting herself but whenever I would stay there with her at night, I would always put my Bible on the coffee table in plain view. As time progressed, the threats were no longer made. God bless.
