If I could answer that question I'd be one of the most famous people in history. Like everyone else, I don't have a clue, and I don't believe at this point in our history that we really know enough about physics to even understand the question. Scientists do agree that the universe had a beginning so it only seems natural to ask how it began. I know this is going to lead into a statement that the only possible answer is that it must have been created by a being but from my viewpoint that sort of an answer would leave more unanswered questions as opposed to answering the first one. I believe if we knew the answer that it would be a natural process that wasn't purpose driven but it's also quite possible that the answer would be something that we weren't even able to intellectually grasp.
the history says that there was a man called moses and he said that he is a messenger from god and god is the one who created us and created the universe and created every thing and he said to his people that they must worship god and obey him and if they do not do so then in the afterlife they will go to hell
and he supported his claim by so many miracles such as dividing the sea
and he also brought a book from god
and the history also tell us similar things about jesus
and also tell us about the last prophet and the last holy book from god
but the last prophet was send for the whole world but this is not only all the reasons but also we have eyes , tongue, two lips , heart and brain and if you verify the last holy book with unlocked heart you will find that is from god
and if every one trace his family tree he will end to the creator (Allah)
How is that a simple question? We as humans are trying to figure it out and who knows if we ever will. If you want the answer to be 'god did it', then so be it. Personally, that's not an acceptable answer for me.
