And he has mystical fire and ice in the hell that can cause physical ultimate itch and pain.

You call that "love"? I call it SOB.
No I don't call that love, that's why I opened up this topic. You are still referring to God as an invisible man sitting in the sky throwing stones and condeming people and forcing them to bow down to him. That is the misconception of what God is, certainly that cannot be confused with love.

Once we have redefined what we call God, then we can start to understand the divinity of who we are. Like I said God is not a person place or thing. God is love.

I never said the Bible mentioned the United States by (name). I said, the Bible (speaks or describes) the United States. Just as the Old Testament never mentions the name Jesus Christ, it describes Him in no less than 300 prophecies. The United States is described in the same way. Some of the prophecies that speak of the United States will be found in Jeremiah chapters 50 and 51, and Revelation chapter 18.

As millions of Americans are losing their jobs, our government is finding new ways to borrow trillions of dollars that Americans will never be able to pay back.
In the future, there will be no money for things we have always taken for granted. Mired down in debt, America is soon going to face a new reality.
As we start to end the old cycle, 2012 will bring with it a new light a new start. What hasn't worked will be broken down: Competitive thinking, corruption, power, war. As the past is released or ended, a new age will begin, the golden age where women will start to be the leaders (equal to men) and the earth will heal. Free energy, a win win mentality of the people, leaders who silently lead for the good of humanity rather than power. Wow it will be a beautiful place.

Of course we are creative beings who chose to create our own future. If we think in a doomsday mentality, so shall we create it for ourselves.

The problem with interpretation is that you can give it the opposite meaning of what was initially intended.
I mean Jesus' philosophy 1st was all about accepting the stranger (since we are all strangers) but many Christian religions only view their believers as the 'chosen' people and cast everyone else (heathens, homosexuals etc) out.
I think that God is both feminine and masculine (a perfect balance), the femine part has been neglected for far too long. So I refer to it in the respect that in order to balance humanity, the femine energy will have to rise up.

*sigh*

I agree that is a bizarre kind of love. If you view God as an invisible man sitting in the sky forcing people to hell for not believing in you then you do not understand the concept of God.

Do you really think I believe in the God found in the bible?

The God of the Bible already knows what are future will be, and when you see nations around the world building nuclear weapons, and the problems of the world only increasing. What is apperent, is that the Bible is correct. It was the Bible that told us that near the end of time, we would see the Jewish people return to the land of Israel from a worldwide exile. And it states they would also retake Jerusalem. The Bible tells us, this event would anger many nations, and there return would lead to one of the last great wars here on earth. Here again, the Bible got it right. Historical discovery keeps showing us that the Bible has been speaking the truth all along. The question is, do we just ignore it's truth, and imbrace our personal unfounded beliefs? Or do we believe in a Book that has never lied to us?

Alright, I'm officially worn out from addressing all those posts.

We have to give ourselves permission to question everything we were ever taught. We can redefine the God of our childhood/adulthood or who is found in the bible. I don't care if you believe there is a God, that is not the point.

When you feel the love in your heart, you have found God.
