So we have Evolution and we have the 7 Days Creation Theory from the Bible. I came across this link on The big dinosaur extinction of 65 million years ago.... let me see 7 Days??? and 65 Million years...... hmmmm

I think science and common sense (well for me) pretty much ruled out the 7 day, 6000 year old earth theory!!

I don't know what kind of religious nut would take that literally. If you do actually belive in the Creation, noone knows for certain how long a day in God's time corresponded with a day in our time.

Correction, 6 days of creation and one day of rest. He created it all in 6 not 7. The earth is only about 13 thousand years old. Have a good day!

Why start a thread if you already (believe) you know the answer. Trmc, what is the catholic stance on evolution. Or do you even know?

At least two Popes, Paul and Pius, considered evolution more than a hypothesis. Nothing like accepting it, but acknowledging it.

Really, I find it strange that catholics would not accept that God created the earth in 6 days. ICatholics don't believe the bible?

And sorry I didnt correct myself-- creation was 6 days God got tired and made Sunday hers day of rest.
