You silly scoffers on this board are arguing that the sun was created before the heaven, but there was not even a place to set it until after the heaven was created.

Quote:
Gen 1:1 IN the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Gen 1:2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
Gen 1:3 Then God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light.
Gen 1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness.
Gen 1:5 God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day.
Gen 1:6 Then God said, "Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters."
Gen 1:7 Thus God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament; and it was so.
Gen 1:8 And God called the firmament Heaven. So the evening and the morning were the second day.
Gen 1:9 Then God said, "Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear"; and it was so.
Gen 1:10 And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas. And God saw that it was good.
Gen 1:11 Then God said, "Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth"; and it was so.
Gen 1:12 And the earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
Gen 1:13 So the evening and the morning were the third day.
Gen 1:14 Then God said, "Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years;
Gen 1:15 "and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth"; and it was so.
Gen 1:16 Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also.
Gen 1:17 God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth,
Gen 1:18 and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good.
Gen 1:19 So the evening and the morning were the fourth day.
There are few words used in the Hebrew, and much is made in the English to explain the understanding of the translators, but the מאור ma'owr [same word used as base for the menorah, and is in this the sun and moon and stars] were made to shine the אור 'owr, back out.

Above the heaven is the water which the Creator separated from the water beneath the firmament.

If god always existed, wouldn't he have a heavenly abode already set up ? You know. An abode. A hangout, digs. If we are made in his image, and he's the light, and way to joy, and has always been, so the story goes, then light did always exist, along with water, dust, spirit, and there would be no up or down in eternity, and space, so we are "all set," no matter what we prove, or disprove.

Gen 1:1 IN the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
synopsis given.
```
Gen 1:2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
Gen 1:3 Then God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light.
Gen 1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness.
Gen 1:5 God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day.
Day 1: light brought into being, 'earth' covered with water -lots of water!
```

Day 2: heaven created between the water, dividing the waters beneath from the waters above.
```
Gen 1:9 Then God said, "Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear"; and it was so.
Gen 1:10 And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas. And God saw that it was good.
Gen 1:11 Then God said, "Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth"; and it was so.
Gen 1:12 And the earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
Gen 1:13 So the evening and the morning were the third day.
Day 3: dry land appears, grasses, herbs and fruit trees called to come forth from the earth
Gen 1:14 Then God said, "Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years;
Gen 1:15 "and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth"; and it was so.
Gen 1:16 Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also.
Gen 1:17 God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth,
Gen 1:18 and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good.
Gen 1:19 So the evening and the morning were the fourth day.
Day 4: lights called into being and set in the firmament of the heaven...
God dwells in Eternity, from there, He has come into His created time to dwell in the temples not made with hands [angels and humans]. He has one image, or similitude [YHWH the WORD], And Adam is made in that one image [Genesis 1:25-28; Romans 5:14]and that one sits on the throne in the created temple in the created heaven, in the created sun, which sun is a teaching oracle of His Light being gathered and shining out, from us, in the regeneration of all things.
He is come in flesh to ransom us back for Himself, as a Kinsman/Redeemer. He did pay the ransom and He is seated on the throne and He is waiting for the number of souls to be saved which will fill up His City, of the Gentile harvest [Israel comes next, for the second harvest], then comes the end, and the regeneration of the heavens and the earth]
Anyway, He made a hang out, an abode digs, as you said, and He withdrew to there when Adam fell and lost the glory covering of a created son of God, but He is busy [the work is finished, but the harvest is ongoing, as souls are born of Adam, whom He wants to adopt into His New Man name, so we can have the glory of sons of God and be His temple not made with hands], and is redeeming us for Himself, calling us by His Light [Christ], which lights us when we come into the world, so as to seek Him and to find Him and to be His eternal house made for His Glory to shine out of.
You have nothing of substance to say to add to the debate.
