Also, doesn't the Bible say a "man who sleeps with another man as he would a woman shall be stoned to death" or something along those lines?
Well what "they" will say is that we no longer stone people to death. And the OT was done away with even though there are scriptures saying that no letter of law shall pass away. There is no making sense of it.
There is nothing wrong with homosexuals. They are as much loved by God as heterosexuals. You should not excluded them just because the world or some belief systems see them as different. They are no different than anyone else. Love them as you would another. If God didn't want same sex relationships, He would not have given humans and animals the ability to be that way.
The soul has no sexual counterparts. The human form is for this world only. You will see that truth when you arrive in the spirit world.
I would rather see their homosexuality put to death.

No offense there Tony...but you seem to make a lot of comments about women that seem a little on the "lusty" side. What's the difference? One of the problems I always had with men preachers is that they'd preach and preach and preach on the issue of lust yet you know damn well that they are just as much pervs as the next guy. They probably sit in their little church offices and lock the doors, look up their favorite porn site and well....you know. I mean after all, who would ever suspect a "man of god" would do such a thing!? It's the perfect cover! Oh sorry...didn't mean to rant on like that.

To ask a question like that is to foster hate and division.
I agree on that. This question seems like either an insult or a confusion.
I'm more bi than gay, but I'm definitely attracted to men. I don't have sex with men and I try to be as chaste as I can. (Sure when I was a teen I watched men's beach volleyball for all the wrong reasons, but I don't claim perfection) Those with same-sex attractions are called to a life of chastity. It's not necessarily easy, but it's not impossible either. And the sacrifice entailed can hopefully lead to spiritual development in other ways.
Before I realized I had same-sex-attractions I was rather prideful deeming myself better than many other Catholics. (My SSAs came comparatively late in life 15 or 16) It was a painful realization, but ultimately it may be the kind of "thorn" that helped me be more compassionate to others. A clear realization I'm a flawed human being like everyone else proned to sin and weakness. Maybe it's helped me empathize with those with other disordered appetites. (Drugs, alcohol, etc)
Not meaning to offend any homosexuals. I'm not stating they all have to have the Catholic view of homosexuality. Just that I do. (As mentioned though I'm more celibate bi and I think I fall-in-love with women more than men)
