Riiiight, just like freeing the slaves, giving women the right to vote and legalizing interracial marriage did..

Man, he even started saying that he does not find homosexuality a real threat to humanity, which is fair.

But just out of curiosity, why does even the slightest criticism which follows bring the screaming face-painted William Wallace out of you guys?!?!

Remember the battle of Stirling in the movie, where the scots run mad at the English, with all sort of crowbars, axes, spears, devices.... LOL

Aren't you progressives supposed to be welcoming of all opinions?

I am a right-leaning Moderate, not a Progressive.

And reactions to Hate, Intolerance, and Inequality should never be a partisan objective and deserves the "Nuclear Option", ie, crowbars, axes, spears, devices, woad war-paint and mad screaming.

The pope also says that the anti christ is a member of the green movement, atheism has started all wars and that no condoms is the solution to the African AIDS epidemic. It sounds as though the pope is a few cans short of a six pack. He makes such ridiculous outlandish statements that just weakens his credibility. His claim about same sex marriage is just another ridiculous outlandish argument.

I am not open to false teachings which have a violent history, and continue to kill millions with erroneous teachings about myths. To be progressive does not include stepping back to the medieval period to pick my morals and values.
