Guess we're all different...My husband and I don't have a "set schedule" unless we have to keep an appointment....And we try to schedule appointments for late in the morning or early afternoon so we don't feel obligated to get up at the crack of dawn....It just feels good to be "open" and "free." We eat at different times each day based on when we feel hungry.....My husband eats more than I do because he's trying to build himself up.....He's "battling" cancer and putting up a good "fight.".......The only meal we eat together is dinner and our "dinner hour" varies from day to day based on our "hunger.".....My husband takes naps when he feels like it....We go to bed when we feel tired....During the day we work on our home-based business together....Also we "factor-in" lots of time for fun and play and conversations....A "set schedule" just wouldn't work for us....It would be too restrictive....Maybe I should start a new thread about "following a schedule." What do you think?

I believe it's mostly attitude although I think if people have a lot of physical problems it probably perpetuates the "old age" thing. My mom keeps telling me that "Someday it'll all catch up to you" and maybe it will. But till then.... She's 83 and I'm "only" 67.
Right on....Well said...I feel the same way.

I'd like to be a "great old broad" (sorta in the Frank Sinatra sense). Be nice to throw in "wise," too, if I earn it.
I look forward to 60, when my town officially thinks I'm a senior, at least for purposes of my dump sticker costing $75 instead of an absurd $300 (for the privilege of carrying my own recycling and trash to the dump).

Oh and to think about living to age 62 and be eligibility to FINALLY get a Golden Age NP Pass (after 44 yrs of buying Golden Eagles, by then... should I live to age 62 I'm finally within 10 yrs!!!'seniorized' at age 49) After-all, the government gives us quite an incentive to croak in 2010 + we won't need to wait around for the END in 2012

I already had over 30 yrs of eldercare experience when I reached age 50, I was READY to be termed a 'senior' BTDT... care centers, senior services, diapers, dentures, stroke recovery, cancers, hospice, embalming, funerals, wills, (dirty) fighting siblings.... Kinda like 'shacking-up' before marriage.... What am I gonna experience NEW as a senior??? (I can hardly wait )

Now that's what I'm talking about. Who doesn't love a broad? And a great one to boot. Wow! Who doesn't love Betty White?
