No. When I've wanted to do something that was within my ability to make it happen, I do it (did it). I do accept that a lot of things might not happen or be able to happen.
This brings up a good question. Should our bucket list only contain the things that are actually doable, or things we'd really like to do or have that we know we will never do or have, based on the limitations (health, money, etc) that we know we have....or, do we include the big impossible wishes in the expectation that if we want something enough we will somehow make it happen. Something to think about....

Thinking About a "Bucket List" . . . Do You Have One?
If I did, I think it would be quite long. However, health more than anything else means that my Bucket List has been cut down to a couple of possibly realizable items:
* I would like to be able to stand and walk without assistance again
* A car and driver tour of the west coast of Ireland
As for us, we only put down things we can actually do, not just dream about and know that we can't physically or financially do.
My wife has been to Paris and would like to take me there someday. Along with Paris, I'd like to visit Rome.
Now that we do have the time and the money to do a reasonable amount of things that we always thought were on such a list and that we thought we had to put off until time and money was available, we have come to the realization that we don't really want to do them and that if we did, we most likely would have found a way.
Those excuses now being gone, we've had to be totally honest and admit they either sounded better in thought than practice and the time/money bit was basically an excuse for not doing them.
While some things are dependent on time/money, many are not.....like a bunch of them on Countrysue's extensive list.

I am retiring at 62.
Good for you! You are going to be busy 24/7 for the next 30+ years.
I too would like to attend the Hwy. 127 garage sale. Nothing but positive posts on the TN forum from those that have attended. Apparently, unique items at very reasonable prices.
However, I do not know if my back issues will allow me to do all of the walking & standing.

If you really want to do this, use a wheelchair.
Where there's a will, there is usually a way.

I would first have to find someone who would be willing to push me around in a wheelchair. I am relatively new to the area. Maybe that special person will appear one day.
It's amazing the number of seniors who's health allows them to be very active but have no interest in being slowed down by a less active person. It's very evident at my senior center. I see seniors being pushed around in wheelchairs but it is usually family members doing the pushing.
I have a very close friend/neighbor who is very active with no health challenges and still invites me to go with her on long shopping trips & walks. She is not willing to shorten the trips and does not suggest an activity that I can participate in. IMO very insensitive, but she is so good to me in so many other ways that I just overlook it.
I can have two things with me, if needed: Motrin (for pain) and my ankle support......for any lengthy walking. If I have room, ActivOn (roll-on) is also with me for pain.
Come and visit me in Bar Harbor when I eventually sell my house in PA and move!!
