Is it like any other night? Do you decorate your house now that you're retired? Do you go to a party?

We live in a 55+ so no trick-or-treaters here and I do miss the little buggers. I decorated my front steps and doorway but there's no Halloween going on inside. I'll wear a pumpkin shirt today as I'm out and about. That's about it. Otherwise it's just another night. It's the first Halloween I remember falling before the time fall back so happy the kids will get the extra hour and here in the northeast it'll be milder than usual. BOO!

Decorated as usual. Went to 2 parties, one last night and one last week. Later our neighborhood gets together and sets up tables so the little goblins can go trick or treating in one spot. Adults and parents can socialize, there's music and fun for all. We make everyday count and enjoy all life has to offer.

People could question Happy Friday; Happy Hour; Happy Easter; Happy Thanksgiving; Happy Columbus Day; Happy Labor Day; etc., etc.

It's just an informal greeting that many times doesn't mean much at all.

We happen to enjoy it and the children who come knocking on the door. Since I'm alone until next week I've not decorated nor will I be handing out treats for the first and only time since I was a child. Our little lakeside community is probably the most walkable, rural one in this entire area so we usually get close to 100 trick-or-treaters if not more. Next year we'll decorate and hand out tons of goodies as usual. Of course, the real downside of being a Scrooge this year is no leftover candy for me!

BOOO! We only get a few trick or treaters here so I only bought a bag of mini candy bars.

We have never decorated but it's fun to see the kids in their costumes and to give them some candy. I've got the candy out on the porch but even so, I am guilty of eating some of it already.

I live in an all-ages neighborhood but we don't get a huge crowd for trick or treating. I have had three scarecrows from Michael's deployed for a few weeks and they will stay up thru the Holidays. I've been wearing orange the past few days.

Halloween is big business these days. If you have small children, you can be celebrating for weeks. My nieces have been posting pics of their kids all month. I like little slivers of the holiday, I'm good with a few decos and I'll eat pumpkin spiced anything!

Since moving from a home in OK two years ago to a condo in SC, we no longer have trick or treaters. I kind of miss seeing the littles dressed up! The only decoration I have up is a large pumpkin themed flag (28x40) hanging out front. I only got it a few days ago when it was 80% off (under $5). After tomorrow, my Fall one will go back up until after Thanksgiving.

Just finished driving up to Orlando, FL. Tonight we're going to their Old Town Halloween Party.

Tomorrow night we're going to Universal's Halloween Horror Nights.

We came to Orlando last year as well and went to Church Street for the street party and also attended Universal's Halloween Horror Nights the same weekend. We decided to come back this year for the 25th Anniversary event.
