I play the violin part time. I used to play a a lot when I was young, and my father taught me(note to self: never be taught the violin by a tyrannical narcissistic father).
Recently I picked it up again, finally recovering from my father's teaching of the instrument to me. My violin was 80+ years old when I got it and now its 130+ years old.
So I really got into it one day with bowing exercises and practiced for about 90 minutes losing track of time.
The next day I work up and my right arm at the elbow no longer worked normally. The joint was pretty well seized up. That never happened when I was 19--- 48 years ago.
I never talk about my grandson. My wife does all the talking on that subject, and so I don't have to.
I can't! Between us we have 15 grandchildren, one great grandchild and two more on the way. Too many names and forget remembering their birthdays. You know what they say about the memory. That's my wife's department.

To a point - my dad is 92, my aunt is 91, both in assisted living and literally waiting for death. Personally I would like to think at some point after reaching say 85, I could count on someone putting a bullet in my head while I sleep.

Dad was on a plane sitting next to a Doctor... they struck up a conversation and Dad said he has started feeling warm all the time which led to more discussion...
Had been to his regular Doc for checkups and said all was OK.
Simply talking to a stranger Dad learned he had Acute Lymphatic Leukemia... the Doc said go back and have your physician test for this as Dad had the classic signs...
Dad was not one to complain and never retired balancing between Chemo, Dialysis related to Chemo etc...
Simply talking to a stranger by happenstance was a blessing.
This is why we get second opinions, and don't rely on just one medical source.
