Obviously we have a big thread about dream jobs and careers but what about nightmare jobs , is there any jobs you would hated if took it up
When I was a kid , I would have hated to have been a binman , although I do massively respect the job noe and think they are underrated members of society.
I had, and quickly abandoned several of them during my working years. Essentially, they were all jobs in which I had to handle all manner of petty, interpersonal or not-directly-addressable issues on a rigid 9-to-5 schedule, and with few options or opportunities to learn. Having to submit to regimentation for regimentation's sake (as with, for example, a dress code), was the final insult.

For me the biggest nightmare job would be working swing or graveyard doing anything. I have always managed to have jobs that start early and end early, currently 6am-2:30pm, leaving plenty of afternoon/evening for other things.
Seems like a strange topic for a retirement forum. I can not imagine the interest in this speculation.
