Something I think about when I get dressed each morning. Do you put on your pants while standing or sitting, and age? I am 62 and still can do it while standing. If you want, you can differentiate between short pants (skivvies) and long pants.

Is that really an accomplishment?

Seriously.
My father is 91 and understandably sits to put his pants on. But is this really a question for someone in their 60s or even 70s? When I was going through chemo two years ago, I was too weak to stand and do it; in fact, I was even too weak to stand at all without leaning on something. But I'm back to being healthy again and as with you, it would never occur to me to put my pants on while seated. I'm 63 btw.

63. Standing. My balance is excellent - I do a lot of balance work to ensure I don't have to deal with those issues until much later in life, hopefully.
Somewhere in 60s, there is a sudden decline in the length of time you can balance on one foot. You go overnight, from virtually unlimited to a few arm-flailing seconds, and usually don't notice it. You don't need a pair of pants handy to test this.
At 79, before my stroke, I could still do 15 seconds on one foot, but not always on first try. Pants on standing, but butt touching the wall for sense of balance. Now, post-stroke, only 5 seconds. My wife can do 50 seconds at age 52,
