OP, you can call SSA, and ask that your premium switches to deduction from your SS check once you claim.

I dont think we have a choice,they do this with all of us,take the medicare premium from the SS check and then deposit into our bank account.

i don't trust auto pay. the only item i use it for is a $3 per week donation to a selected charity.
but otherwise, i just don't trust it.

After my wife and I were hospitalized with covid at the same time we realized we need everything possible put on an autopay as neither of us would be able to pay any bills if we were hospitalized any longer ..

There is no bill we can’t pay either on line or that gets paid direct now
