I'm starting this thread to hear some good news since bad news is easy to find.
It's been a challenging year even though I feel fortunate most of the time.

Here's what makes me happy:
1. Having a safe place to call home
2. Having good doctors I trust (and being done with them until 2022)
3. Making art (with no sales intent)

More could be added but tried hard to decide which ones are my top 3.
I love to cook and eat good food and that was a toss-up for #3
Most times my longtime spouse would be in top 3 but he's been very annoying lately, probably due to anxiety but gotta be honest he's not in the running right now.

The antics of my dog.

Baking Christmas things, mince tarts and little Yorkshire puddings.

Went to an art museum last week for the first time in over two years.

"When the dog bites, when the bee stings, when I'm feeling sad..." Feel free to sing along! These are a few of my favorite things:

1. All of us being on the road in the van, going to places I love, such as our cabin in North Idaho, with good music playing, and enough snacks for the whole trip

2. Being in our cabin in North Idaho, setting up the easel, and painting, or walking the dogs on our 5 acres, or waking up to the scent of pine trees, or (everything else)

3. Normalcy, the way it was in February 2020...

Watching the pink skies of a sunrise in the morning from my kitchen window.
Long stretches of available time to do all the thing I want to do.
In our comfy warm bed bed at night with a book before falling asleep.
