Where would you love to be living in your retirement years?
Since we retired in place, I am happy where I am.
But if I were alone? Anywhere?........ Tasmania.

Love Santa Fe. The high desert is <chef's kiss>. The Rio Grande is amazing--I could sit there are look at it for hours and hours.

I like splitting my time between the mountains and the beach. This is especially true in the winter. In both locations I like to be active and around people.

We are pretty much set. Some minor remodel to turn master bath in a wet bath and permanently close in the hot tub.
I am afraid there is an RV on the horizon though.

My dream was SC upstate, on Lake Keowee. But now all the out of staters have discovered that region and driven prices through the roof plus added a lot of people to the area. It was much nicer when it was rural, undiscovered, and people were afraid to be close to the Oconee nuclear plant.
