hopefully this is how we will spend our retirement time, just photographing cool places. the first batch is my wifes

we try to find interesting places to stop. went to a pretty cool old grist mill and farm in philips manor which is in the town of sleepy hollow ny. if it sounds familiar its because the famous book iccabahd crane and the headless horseman written by irving berlin was there. nikon d80 18-200mm

FIRST BATCH WAS D80 AND 18-200MM ABOUT 1600.00 BUCKS ,THIS BATCH IS DONE WITH D300 AND 17-55MM F2.8 . THE D300 SET UP IS ABOUT 3000.00 BUCKS AND ILL BE DARND IF I CAN SEE A DIFFERENCE

I wish more companies would offer trips up there. I'm about 2 1/2 hours from there and would love to see that in the fall/ Halloween time. Some companies did trips to the mansions around there but only had a brief stop over. Or to West Point via river cruise. I'm also waiting for trips to go to Sing Sing once they open the older part up as a tour/museum place. Any pictures of the Old Dutch Church?

Headed to the dutch church and rockerfeller estate next time we go that way. also i want to see that church rockerfeller built with the stained glass by chagall and matesse
