I think Warwick should work on creating a walkable downtown. I believe Apponaug Four Corners is considered "downtown" but it is all one way streets circling around it and not much reason to stop.

In the future all traffic coming into Apponaug from Centerville Rd will be routed to the roundabout at Greenwich Ave and Vet's Memorial essentially creating a bypass around the center of town.. Also, traffic coming from Post Rd into Apponaug from the South will no longer have to go through the entire circulator to reach Greenwich Ave, Post Rd and Post Rd extension, instead it can continue North through the new intersection. Traffic will now be two way through Apponaug but the new set up will drastically cut the volume through the center of town..
