I saw this on the news and am heartsick. Two of my exes happened to be volunteer firefighters -- and those were my two happiest relationships. Quiet, caring, dependable, selfless. As if firefighters and other first responders don't face enough dangers as it is. When will the gun madness end?
My deepest sympathies to those families. I am weeping for them.
This just makes me sick...and for it to happen on Christmas eve and so close to home. My brother used to live really close to there...just a couple streets over! I wish this guy didn't kill himself so he could be tried and found guilty and locked up for ever.
Suicide note includes this chilling & disturbing line: “I still have to see how much of the neighborhood I can burn down and do what I like doing best: killing people.”
