My hometown has no traffc lights. The library used to be in the same building as city hall and the volunteer fire department. My high school was surrounded by corn and soybean fields. The churches and bars represented though! LOL

You know you live in a small town when you loan your truck to your brother-in-law from out of state and the police stop him just because they know the truck, but not the driver, then call you to ask if he had your permission to drive it.

Went to a business meeting in Denver, the lunch conversation was about the dramatic increase in commute times along the Front Range in Colorado over the last few years. One story after another about the population increase and traffic increase and drawn out commutes. It got around to me, I said "there are no traffic lights on my commute." People were dropping their forks. I softened it up for them by noting that I sometimes have to slow down or stop for deer or turkeys.
