I showed up at noon (big mistake), sat for two hours almost falling asleep while 4 tellers stood behind 16 slots that could have been filled with 12 more people... even if they'd added 4 more it would have cut my time in half.

I made a $30 registration for something that took probably 10 minutes total to go through. If the 100+ people in all did that, that's $300, to pay 8 people $10 an hour, that's $80 to pay them for an hour. Even if its $15, it's still less than they made.

Yes, I know they're not a corporation, they don't make a profit, but they don't need to be to put enough people in there to get people through within a reasonable amount of time with the amount of money they're generating just from registration fees. There are so many people waiting to hand over money, I don't know how they can't open more offices.

With everybody having to register, you'd think they'd make enough to cover all that and more.

Am I wrong in my assessment here? They can't pay to have enough people there to let people go through within an hour? Most companies I go to, you're in and out pretty quick and you're not even giving them money, like a bank for instance where I set up a checking account and the lines are usually quick (even if long) and I'm making a withdrawal.

I typically go to the Draper location. They have tons of tellers and they rock it. I'm usually in and out of there in about a half hour tops. At times I've gone in for a license renewal and walked out in 15 minutes NEVER go at peak times. Like noon and 4:30pm on or you're hosed.

Going in Tuesday through Thursday around 10:00 a.m. usually works well.
