Hi I tried going to the san antonio.gov website and i didn't find any helpful information, I was hoping someone here may be able to help me out, My friend has a restaurant, and wants to start advertising "Happy Hour" for alcoholic drinks, I am a graphic designer and I will be helping him with the design of the printed banner. I want to know if there's any restrictions i should know about using margarita images or beer images as part of my visual design. or should I just use letters only,? any information will help

I don't know the city regs but that would probably not be allowed in Stone Oak. All Stone Oak signage has to be submitted through the Stone Oak POA ARC.

Looking at the TABC website there is no direct discussion about signage. You can take the time to look further into the we site and/or call TABC to get guidelines. If you call and get a ruling, make sure you get the person's name, extension number and time of call. I used to call and keep calling until I got the person who said what I wanted to hear. You can get a different opionion on each call. Don't ya love buracrecy(sp)?
