Mercedez Owners,

Where do you take your Mercedez for regular services? Are there other options than MB of San Antonio?

Dealership has just recommnaded a buch of fluids flush/service ( Power steering, brake, transmission, coolent, differential) and replace rear brakepads/rotors and air filter. Will it be a problem if I use a shop like Midas or Goodyear?

Thanks in advance

Broadway Tire on Broadway near Hildebrand. If it needs doin, they will do it, if it does NOT need doin, they tell you and don't do it. Dealers go by the book and do not look, feel or listen to a car to know what it needs. After going to Braodway Tire, I will never go to a dealer to do anything but buy a car. And even then I will give it a second thought.
Broadway does what is needed and provides the documentation for warrenty and most important, they do a good honest job.

Unless you have over a 100K miles I would say the only thing you need changed is your Coolent and probably your brake pads(your rotors should be fine). Anyplace can replace those.

Thanks for the responses, appreciate it.

Since I am not mechanically inclined to do the job myself and plan to keep this car for a long time, like to build a good working relationship with a shop or indie to maintain my car in good shape. Importantly, I am looking for a honest person with good quality work.
