There were two constables that were constantly pulling over people on Dover Ridge this morning. I saw it while I was exercising. As soon as they were done with one they had their lights on pulling over another. Anyone know why?

I don't know if the information is available to the public but one way to confirm this is to look at data for every ticket written in any given year and graph it based on the date each ticket was written. If the plot points are always high towards the end of the month then I think you have your answer.

Because that is exactly what they are paid to do?!?

Please, we cannot continually go on about the alleged incompetency of the local law enforcement agencies on one hand; then complain about them doing their job on the other!

Here's a little secret I learned a while back...obey the law as best you can, and chances are good that you don't have to worry about being caught by the police!

And if you do slip and managed to do something illegal, accept the consequences like and adult and move on. We're all only human, and it happens sometime; but don't blame the police for doing their jobs!

And in San Antonio that shocks you?

I drive the speed limit or close to it, and I calculate that 95% of the people on the road pass me. You can easily get away with going 5-10 MPH over the limit, and honestly probably even up to 15 MPH if you're smart and do so when everyone else is going 20+ over the limit. So if someone is pulled over in SA, most likely they had to be really cooking down the road. I have no sympathy for them, and wished it would happen more often...

Get as sarcastic as you want but it was strange to watch. I'm not complaining I'm just trying to understand what was going on since it was literally one after the other the hour and a half I was there and it didn't look like they were stopping anytime soon.
