Looks like he is gone for sure.

True, I guess. I just feel bad for him. If I remember correctly, his wife was a reporter on WOAI and then got canned. They recently had a baby and now he gets canned. Hope he can find another job quickly.

Does anyone know why he is gone? I didn't see a reason in the linked story. I noticed that he often said some opinionated things on the air, though usually in a joking way. Still, some might have viewed that as unprofessional.

I was under the impression that his wife voluntarily resigned just prior to the birth of her child. Sure doesn't look good when an employer terminates a female employee on the verge of taking maternity leave.

I don't know the reason, but then, the article didn't outright say he was no longer employed by the station, only that he had "moved off the morning show", and that they "expect to name a replacement for the morning weather spot later this summer".

Still, his disappearance, and subsequent lack of mention of him taking some other role at the station, would suggest he is no longer employed there.
