Plan on going on Sept 10 Saturday. How packed can I expect it to be? Anyone ever gone around this time when most of the tourists are gone

I drive by there almost daily and really it hasn't been packed all summer long. Usually Schlitterbahn and the tube shute is so packed with people that we have never gone to either one, but this year has been mild with people there. I am sure you won't get very many tourist just the locals who have season passes. My girls went in July with some friends and they told me they didn't have to wait in one line and this was on a Saturday, but I guess you never know.

You can expect it to be packed no matter what. We tried going one day and got right in at 0900 and made our way to MasterBlaster and the line was already 1.5hour wait. I have come to the conclusion Schillterbahn is not worth it anymore the lines are always too long for the good rides.

Friends of mine were in from Michigan and insisted on going. This was mid July and I chose not to go because of the crowd. Well, they had a horrible experience because it was too crowded. They were saying some of the rides were a 3 hour wait!
Surely, it isn't worth the time.

Point is this, it will be very crowded Sept 10, knowing it is the end of the season! Best of luck to you and definately keep us posted on your venture to the water park..

Glad you had a good time. I probably should have gone this year seeing it was not that busy, but I didn't . So I will have to see what next year is like. My two older girls have gone, but my husband, my younger daughter, and myself has never been. How was the new ride? Also was it clean (Fiesta Texas makes my stomach turn in their water park)?
