WAIT! The forecasts might still change before we get there! They're ALWAYS changing!

Unfortunately, what if it goes to 105? *shudder*

When is the next cold front (aka firestorm) due? Sucks that the weather is nice but reaks havoc with the asthma in the family!

tell me about it, that sudden cold front gave me a wicked nose bleed!

i'll take 100 as long as it doesn't get much higher. hopefully those night time temps will remain low so i can keep some of these windows open. not like we have a choice.

I just got back from Lexington, Kentucky and it was pretty wet and cool up there the entire time. I had forgotten how nice the rain and cooler temps are.

This is my fifth trip up there and I am starting to realize how true it is when people say how dirty San Antonio is. I hate to admit it but Lexington is soo much cleaner overall.

I still love San Antonio. This is my home but this city could use some cleaning up.

Really? I think our city is a lot cleaner compared to Dallas and Houston. Is there a specific area you think is dirty?

I spend most of my time on either southside, downtown or north central. I really don't get to the far north areas that much.

I have been doing a lot more traveling now and I guess I can see why some people say that San Antonio is dirty. I know this will offend people but I think that those that do get offended dont get out of SA much.

Next weekend I am going to Tokyo Japan for two weeks so I am in for some culture shock then and possibly more rain as I hear it is typhoon season right now over there.

Another very clean place

I have been surprised at how many times I have seen people unashamedly throwing garbage out their car windows here in SA. I honestly haven't seen as much of that across other parts of the south.

I know. When I got back tonight, I went through the drive through at jack in the box on the way home. The car in front of me threw out a paper bag on the ground and I was shocked.

Like I said, I love my hometown but some others don't and treat it like garbage!

That's one reason that when a job offer came to Mr. to move to Austin he jumped at it. He grew up on the westside (410/Marbach) and after 35 years he was just tired of seeing all the trash in SA. Can't say Austin is all that different but he is happier so I guess thats something.
