Makes sense. People don't realize that Asians are the fastest growing ethnic group in the US in the last decade, bypassing Latinos.

Finally met someone like me today. He had the surgery in 2008 and you'd never guess he used to be overweight, but he is quite a bit more bulked up than me. He lifts weights about two hours per day and looks great. He also still sees fat on his body from the loose skin, had his eating habits totally changed not by choice, and still has a hard time accepting himself as thin. It's nice to finally meet someone that is in the same shoes as me. Pretty much everyone else I have met didn't have anywhere near the success and don't look all that great.

Just bought my weekend in paradise.. riding the ICE (320 KPH) train straight from Frankfurt Main to Amsterdam City Centre and staying in the Crowne Plaza, which I got for just a little over $300 for two nights, which is amazingly cheap for Amsterdam. I was going to stay at the new Doubletree, but the rates went from about $330/night to almost $700/night in one freaking day. Bastids!
anyhow, I'm worth it, of course, and I so can't wait to head back to paradise. I want to live there, but being 3 hours and 58 minutes away is close enough.. I have a feeling I'll be making this trip quite often too. All told, it was under $700 for the train and hotel for two nights and you can't even touch that from the States, or pretty much anywhere else.
Anyone ever traveled out of the Frankfurt Main station? It's the largest train station in Europe, so it should be pretty easy, I hope. Booking it sure as hell wasn't... Euro websites really need to come out of the dark ages. It rejected both of my cards even though they had plenty of money available and both know I'm over here while my wife is still over there. Luckily PayPal saved my ass yet again, otherwise I was in for a Long drive..

I ordered mine in English with some crappy Italian and German from a Sicilian tonight and gladly paid him €6.50.. it was worth it and only a block down the street from my apartment.

I do need to remember to say keine zwiebel and extra artischocke next time, though. I hate onions, but loves me some artichokes.
