I've lived in both. In my opinion San Antonio is an all around better city to live in than OKC in almost every way. OKC does has two things that we don't however...

An honest-to-goodness Asian grocery store (thank god for you, Cao Nguyen) and decent banh mi sandwiches. SA has a couple of decent Pho shops, but the Viet food in OKC is better (though when I visit the future in-laws in Houston, I can get a fix that tops either SA or OKC, so there's that).

You're right about that, the Asian grocery store in OK City was awesome. Found it a few months after living there and shopped there several times. It was huge! We need one of those, but not sure if there is a large Asian demographic in San Antonio that would warrant one. Do we even have any good Asian stores here?

We have a few small mom-and-pop shops. There's Tim's on Bandera near Timberhill for pan-Asian groceries, Minnano on Callaghan near Fredericksburg Rd for Japanese, and an Indian grocery who's name escapes me on Fredericksburg and Wurzbach (I go there for the large sacks of brown basmati rice and Taj Mahal tea).

I wander off topic, though. This is fodder for a different thread.

In addition to those mentioned, there are a couple of Indian groceries on Evers, btwn 410-Wurzbach. There's another store (which seems pan-Asian) on Wurzbach near Bandera.

There are a couple of Korean and Thai grocery stores over in the Rittiman area.

Not fabulous, but they exist.
