They Moderator cut: not permittedpatrol the part of 410 that is in their jurisdiction, but not for safety. For another reason entirely.

Oh ok. I thought all of 410 sat in SA city limits and BH was on the inside of the loop.

I have never seen a BH cop on 410.

410 doesn't pass through Balcones Heights, but a portion of I-10 does.

If I am not mistaken, I-10 is 60 mph...correct?

What I do see often is a BH cop will pull someone over on the SA side of Fredericksburg rd for speeding on the way out of BH but again, the speed limit is 40 on that road.

I am confused because I have never seen the BH cops on 410 or I-10, just the access roads. I have driven all over BH and never had an issue with them personally but based on observation, they are vicious cops.

IIRC, the speed limit on I-10 doesn't drop from 65 to 60 until you get close to downtown.

My mistake. I obviously confused I-410 for I-10.

I got a ticket for turning right on red in BH. I just paid it. In the grand scheme of things, that money isn't that big of a deal. Whatever. I ran the light. This was months ago, now I know the mayor of BH and would take it to her.
