There is a Carl's Jr. being built right next to the new Popeyes on 281, just north of Evans.

I'm not a fan of Carl's Jr., but I suppose this is good news for those who are. I still have hope that In N Out will come.

I find their burgers decent, but I'm a sucker for their breakfast biscuits sandwiches.

This has not been the first time Carl's Jr. was in San Antonio. They were here back around 1984. I used to go to the one on Walzem Rd. and Fourwinds. The building is now a Starbucks. Carl's Jr. still has their heart attack on a bun, the Western Bacon Cheeseburger.

The Western Bacon Cheeseburger is the best, particularly if you get extra barbecue sauce and put jalapenos on them.
