I've been wanting to try snake meat.

Any restaurants in or near San Antonio those serve exotic meats, including snakes?

If you have a recipe, I have seen rattlesnake at Central Market on Broadway, always wanted to pick one up...

If you really want, you can look out for next year's Rattle Snake Roundup in Sweetwater, TX.
You missed it this year unfortunately, but it leaves you plenty of time to plan a roadtrip.

Like someone else mentioned, had seen rattlesnake in the frozen section at CM or Whole Foods-been years though. You might also search for "wild game dinners" put on by churches or other organizations. Recall going to one in Castroville years ago that served fried rattlesnake nuggets, nothing special about the taste/texture.

Just go to any Mexican restaurant and order Tripa, that's as close as you'll get and it looks the same !!

I think Pappadeax might serve rattle snake, at least they did at one time.
