My husband and I are heading out to see The Phantom tonight....and we're wondering where the best place to park would be. We're not eating downtown before or lingering afterward so something closeby, that's easy in and out and not too expensive would be preferable.

Thanks!

There are a couple of parking lots that are close by to the Majestic.. If I remember correctly they cost around $10. to park there..

There is a parking garage right behind the majestic that normally has parking available. I just dont remember what the street name is on it. Thats where I parked at when I went to the Majestic.

The garage next to the Majestic is indeed the closest parking, although it tends to be packed on show nights so you end up idling in your car for 1/2 hr trying to get out of the garage after the show (unless you run out of the Majestic as soon as the curtain drops). You can access the garage from College Street and from Navarro. See map at Downtown Operations Home Page

If you're looking for other parking downtown, you can see a map of all City garages and parking lots at Downtown Operations Home Page

Have fun!

At the corner of E. Travis and N. St. Marys, there's a garage that's either $3 or $5 to park. It's rarely half full and only one block from The Majestic. Most people come from the other direction, so people usually park before they make it to that garage and don't even know it's there. Cheap, and it's easy in and out.

That sounds like the lot which I have parked at many times when I've gone to the Majestic. That's where I would choose.

Thank you Kevin (and Ozzyrules)! My husband and I parked there last night (6 dollar flat-rate) and it turned out great. We were able to get away from the theatre quickly and avoid all the post-production traffic.

I would definitely use this parkade again.

I can answer that one... When you Google "Parking Majestic Theater", its one of the first things that comes up. I actually found it yesterday when I was looking for the exact same info.

I figured it was something along those lines. Several queries have brought up C-D threads on Google. Come to think of it....I believe that's how I found this site! ;-)
