Next to Hobby Lobby at 1604 and Culebra, there will be an Office Depot or Office Max. I can not recall which one at the moment.

In 2001 Office Depot closed stores in numerous states including Ohio, New York, and Arizona citing rapid expansion and competition from Staples and Office Max.

That is the most recent thing I could find when I researched it.

Hope that helps.

Thanks--I am just not interested enough to google it myself! I just thought I remembered reading that they were in dire financial straits, but I guess things aren't that bad.

Sort of surprising that they would put an Office Depot right accross from the new Office Max (in Alamo Ranch Shopping Center), especially considering the financial trouble they've been having.

Office Wars?

Add this to the:

HEB vs. Kroger/Albertson's/Walmart/Target

CVS vs. Walgreen's

Home Depot vs. Lowe's

Walmart vs. K-Mart/Target/HEB

Feel free to add some more...
