Oh, and I updated my profile to show that I actually have pets now. LOL I have not had a furry critter running around the house for 8 years now. Though we did have a little river turtle when we lived in Sacramento. Now the story I still have to blog about...but will give y'all the short version here...is how is that after the missus and I have been together for 7 years and only now do we have kittens after her pleading and begging for so long...for kittens that is?

She used the "My Mother passed away and the kittens will help to make my sadness of her passing go away."

Though her Mother passed away three years ago, this is what did me in.

I darn near had to pull over to the side of the road on the way to Bastrop after reading this text to have a good cry.

Oh well...everybody is happy, heck even I am too.

Good afternoon, all you chatterboxes!!!

So, it looks like we may have another "disgruntled CA transplant" (sorry mojo, I really TRIED to think of a different term for it ) moving to SA. When ya "hear" ~ "I'm starting to regret this move we're about to make, I wish I had done more research...." ugh.

Well good afternoon to you!

Yes, I saw that today...skimmed, yawned and moved on. I did a lot of my research on this board and still have NOOOOO regrets about moving from Cali. My Mom still asks me whenever she calls if we are happy we made the move...to which we say ohhhh yes!!!

That sounds wonderful! I need to check out the menu again...and will offer anybody a bit of their jalapeño carrot cake...and emphasis on COOOOOOLD beverages. I wonder if Sapphire needs any help in making the change to the right plans...which is with all of us?

WOOHOO!!!! Good for you! Wow, what a concept, diet and excercise helps you loose weight??? I always chuckle at people trying to find the "fast route"! I've been loosing weight for about 4.5 years now, down 55.
