Have you noticed concerts, parties, and pretty much anything that could be construed as fun gets more painful with each passing year? Maybe not during, but definitely afterwards.

Definitely...takes time to recover from these things now...used to bounce right back when we were younger. Sometimes I wonder how we did it!!

Oddly enough, Bon Scott was only the lead singer for six years (74-80), and Brian Johnson's been the lead singer for over 25 years (1980-); but the two eras are of almost equal important in the history of the band! I am a big fan of the Bonn Scott days of the band; but Johnson was a suitable replacement and one that Scott himself would have most likely approved of!

You can hear tracks from their new album...errr...CD of their web site.

As for the ringing in the ears...since I've already got that (tinnitus, part of which may have come from prior AC/DC concerts!), I'm not too worried!

Cheers! M2

I checked the prices for some of the shows on the tour and it looks like they start at about $100. My friend in L.A. says the tickets there are $170. I think I'll pass on this one.

Well, if they start at $100, I'm skipping, too. Too close to Christmas, and I have a 12 year old to buy gifts for. Although, he would like AC/DC tickets. He always makes me crank it up in the car for Back in Black.

I found a post by someone who says all tickets start at $90. Add on Ticketmaster's "convenience" fees and you're looking at more than a hundred bucks.

There's always a chance that the prices will scare people away and they'll have a sale on the cheap seats closer to the concert date. I've also had some luck buying tickets below face value outside gigs. Scalpers sometimes bite off more than they can chew and they'll take almost anything - especially after the first song has started.

100 dollars. I remember saying "ouch" when I bought my Metallica tix back in 1990, and they were 20 bucks each. up until then, I had never payed that much for a ticket..LOL
