OK guys...just got off the phone with the Bexar County Sheriffs Dept. They said that IF anyone sees this vehicle or they have these people approach their door, to call 335-6000 to report it and they will have an officer come and check it out (she would not now since I was not able to tell her where they were at this time)...and if you see anyone actually breaking into someones house, to call 911 right away.

I guess that this is the best I can do, post this info for those of you that might be approached today or in the future because they would not even take the liscense tag number over the phone.

I don't know what else to tell you...I tried.

Maybe you should make up flyers and put them on your neighbors' doors. Get word out somehow about these fools. I hate theives!!!

My neighbor has an Australian Cattle Dog, and she'd love that sign! The dog "knows" me and I still never enter her gate unless she's out there letting her dog know it's okay.
Ya know, I may be able to help....(sent ya a DM...)

Paka - I think it's great that you're letting everyone know what happened, and took steps to check on status, etc...we all have to pull together as communities and protect ourselves.

Are any of y'all missing potted plants, by any chance? That's what they're doing in my neighborhood.

That's strange. I betcha they're taking them to the flea market(s) to sell. I mean, why else, and how else are you going to get any money out of the plant thievery? That was happening here in my area, but before I moved in (I heard about it from neighbors)... thankfully nothing since.

I thought of the flea market thing after my mom recently suggested I should take my numerous unwanted agave plants and other household stuff to the flea market, vs. a yard sale or Craigslist... she thought the plants would sell fast there.

Yeah, I'm sure that's what the losers are doing. It would sure be nice if people would devote as much energy and time to legit work as they do to ripping people off. That's living in a dream world, though.

what kind of agave plants are they, are they the yellowish or blueish? because depending on the color you could make some delicous food out of them. the yellow adds a nice bitter tangy flavor, while the blue adds a little sweet sourish flavor.
