I remember river city cabaret, I was taken care of very good by a dancer in a back room.

Even though I am a 30 something house wife with 2 kids even I know where the bathhouses are in San Antonio! Maybe it comes from my days working at the nightclubs in the 90s but I do still have friends in that realm and everything is still kicking at many places around town but I am not going to do the legwork for ya and tell ya where there are! I don't kiss and tell!

I still fail to see how strip clubs are associated with the word "Gentlemen".

Just a bunch stripping off their clothes for the cheap thrill of some guy who can't even get himself a good woman elsewhere.

If memory serves me correctly, the top gay club circa 1970 was the Parenthesis on Broadway. I remember because as a boy coming home from church, it was quite a confusing site to see as the patrons milled about.

The only place I remember from the 80's that I believe has closed is a club my father used to go to on Roosevelt. It was a pink place called Go-Go Girls.

I was never in there since I was only a child but I remember my mom driving by there to see if my dad's car was in the lot... LMAO.

A few years ago when it was still open, a woman did go in there, see her husband with another woman, and then she drove over him and killed him in the parking lot. I hope that wasn't your mom!
