Hi I am looking for a good German deli to buy meats and cheeses. This is a Christmas Eve tradition for my family but we moved here last December so I'm not familiar with any German deli's here or around San Antonio. Any help is appreciated!

If you are military, or know someone who is, you will find the commissaries in the SA area bring in a HUGE selection of German goods during the holidays...they stock all kinds of Christmas special types of once a year items.

Schillo's is always a great affordable place to grab a bite. Not really a German Deli, but they do have many sausages and cheeses to choose from.

There's also German Restaurant on Babcock near 410, I've never tried it, but it's been there for a while now.
Also, you may want to call the Beethoven Maennerchor Halle in King William.
They don't alway serve food, but they do have many special events where the members make and sell authentic German food.
