My family and I are moving to San Antonio from Houston this summer. I have been doing some research online on good neighborhoods/areas for families with kiddos. We know we want to live in the Stone Oak/Cibilo Canyon area. What neighborhoods do we want to STEER CLEAR of? Need some advice ASAP as we are planning a trip in the next 2 weeks to search homes/new construction in the next few weeks. Thank you for your help!!

I can tell you that my dream area is Alamo Heights (between airport and Brackenridge park)

Our price range is around $275-350k. I really want to be in a neighborhood with a community pool and good schools. We have 2 boys ages 2 & 6. I really like the Cibilo Canyon neighborhood and have looked online at various neighborhoods in Stone Oak area too but there are soooo many...

Try the vineyards at Huebner and 1604. Terrific neighborhood and you don't have to fight the 281 traffic. About two blocks off 1604 and in your price range.

May I suggest Oakwell Farms? Close in, gated, good schools, gorgeous pool, tennis courts and wooded walking trails.
