As has been discussed here many times, the best restaurants in town aren't downtown. The fastest way to get specific answers would be to search this forum for "riverwalk restaurants."

Rosario's. They got a downtown location and a smaller one inside terminal one of the airport.

I don't know that I'd agree with thisl Le Reve is downtown and consistently is rated the best restaurant in SA, and one of the best in Texas. Additionally, I can quickly think of many other top rated restaurants downtown ~ Las Canarias, Biga, Bohanan's come to mind right off the bat.

Well, then do yourself (and your dining partner) a favor and make reservations at Le Reve.

What in the world are you talking about? The best restaurant in the city (and arguably in Texas), Le Reve, is downtown. Sandbar, Biga, Bohanan's, Las Canarias, Citrus, and Acenar are all downtown as well. You're seriously off here.
