elnina, I didn't see Serna on the website about passport acceptance agents...is Serna a very recent addition or something? hadleyzoo I'll make my report as soon as I can, I just want to avoid perrin beitel. hard work not luck is what I'll need for this venture...

No. This is "my" post office and I see the sign about passports on the counter all the time.
Please call to make sure they do it on Saturdays.

i called serna post office, they don't do Saturdays. So I had to schedule an appt during spring break to do the passport processing. We're not traveling until August anyway.

My perfect solution would be to have a downtown location that does the passports, no need to swing around all over town to figure out whether your local PO has openings, etc. and do some convenience hours. The downtown Post office is beautiful and if it is not being utilized to its fullest extent, it could serve as a great location. Tuesdays and Thursday till 7 pm and Saturdays half day and close on Monday or another day of the week to cut down costs. Ah yes my perfect world!
