Mostly older, small homes. Several with only 1 car garages.

NEISD School district - the schools are all right, but not fabulous. Lee HS. I think it's Jackson MS.

I don't know about crime exactly. We live a few miles from there and I usually pay attention if I hear about something in our area, and I don't recall anything too recently. You'll find a mix of homes that have been very well kept, and those that haven't.

My husband looked in that area when he bought our current home before we got married, and decided against it because he didn't think that a home there would increase in value as much as some other areas.

Actually, most of it is served by Nimitz MS. That little portion that's between Jones-Maltsberger and 281 may be part of Alamo Heights ISD...it's hard to tell from the NEISD maps.

That would literally be the other side of the tracks. There are much better areas to pick in San Antonio that have similar houses and better schools and better kept up.
