I'm San Antonian, born and raised. I don't live there now, but I will be going back someday and not just for visits.

is the 517 in your user name for Lansing or the Lansing area?
I grew up in Farmington Hills then lived in Howell for my last 8 years in Michigan before moving south in 07. I don't do extreme heat well.

'Twas born in Great Bend, KS. Moved to Phoenix, AZ when I was 2. Lived there till the Marine Corps stationed my husband in CA. We lived in Lemore, Santa Ana, and El Toro while in CA. Moved back to Phoenix for about a year. Couldn't stand it and moved back to CA, this time in Huntington Beach. It was PARADISE! Lived there about 10 years, moved out to Menifee, CA. Then otherhalf got a temp assignment in hell (Charleston, SC). Got outta hell as soon as possible (5 months) and came here. Have lived here about 11 years, 5 of which were spent in Atascosa County on our "farm" (40 acres in the middle of nowhere).

It was actually LONG before the 25th time. Many times things stayed in storage. Most military families know to pack light.
