Liberty Bar
Tacqueria Chapala (McCullough Ave.)
Sandbar
Saigon Express
La Fonda

As I was writing this list, I realized that, except for Sandbar, these joints aren't my "usual suspects" because of the food. Rather, a mixture of familiarity, consistency, and convenience seem to be the common thing. Something I hadn't really thought of before.

I haven't seen LUBY'S mentioned yet. When I was a kid that seemed like the only place my family ever went.

After my parents got divorced, thats pretty much where my Dad took us EVERYDAY. I've had enough LuAnn fried fish platters to feed a small country.

Funny. I've been there enough to feed two small countries, yet I've never had the fried fish. It always seemed like a big fish stick.
