Heard the word "hundred" describing tomorrow's high on the radio forecast from The Weather Channel. We may not be done with the century mark yet.

I am grateful for the lower temps. All the constant 100-degree days really scorched the *fill in blank* out of the region, and we really needed a cool-down. Sure the air is muggy but humidity indicates the high-pressure heat pocket that kept us above average and in a drought since last year is finally breaking down, bringing in chances for rain and recovery.

Got a nice steady light rain here for a good 30 minutes. Still a light mist coming down.
